Amanda Pays is originally from England, and she is the daughter of a show business actor and agent named Howard Pays. She began her school days at the age of eight, and she went to a nearby convent where she demonstrated her skills as a child actress. She has a very distinct and throaty voice and was cast in male roles in a girl school productions. She sent a polaroid picture to a modeling agent and then found herself in an upward stream for an acting career. She first commenced her acting adventures through clothes horsing and breakthrough with The Cold Room as George Segal.
