Amrita Rao is an Indian actress who principally appears in Hindi movies. She is originally from Mumbai and made her debut in a film from Ab KeBaras that came out in 2002, and she was nominated for the best Filmfare female debut for it. One of her most protruding roles was in Vivah, a romance movie. She has also played roles in Main Hoon Na and Welcomes to Sajjanpur, earning the Best supporting actress award and the Stardust Best Actress Award nomination. She has made the name in the list of most desirable women of 2011.
