Amy Williams was born on 29th September 1982, and she is a former British Skeleton racer who has won a gold medal at Olympics. She was initially a runner but soon started getting trained in skeleton in the year 2002. She tried the sport on a push-start tracks the Bath University. She was unable to qualify for the winter Olympics of 2006 but then became a member of the Great Britain team at the 2010 Games. She acquired a gold medal and became the first British in thirty years to win a gold medal in these Olympics. She is originally from Cambridge and then grew up in the city of Bath.
