Amy Winehouse was born on fourteenth September 1983, and she was a prominent English songwriter and singer. She is still well-known for her expressive and deep contralto vocal cords and her ability to mix genres electrically. She also was a participant in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra during her younger days. She has also been in a long relationship with a producer named Salaam Remi. Her breakout album was named Frank, and she released it in 2003. Many of her songs took inspiration from jazz and were very successful in the UK. She earned a nomination soon after for a Mercury Prize, a musical award.
