Maria Anna Angelika Kauffmann was born on 30th October 1741, and she is usually recognizable as Angelica Kauffman. She used to be a neoclassical painter from Switzerland, and she had a sufficiently successful career in Rome and London. She painted the history of the empires that came and went, and she was highly skillful with landscape, decoration, and portrait. She was one of the two founding members of the Royal Academy, along with Mary Moser. She is originally from Switzerland, and they moved to Morbengo. They soon made a shift to Como, and that area was under Austrian ruling then.
