Vera Farmiga was born on August 6, 1973, in New Jersey. She is an American actress. She is also a director and producer. She is the daughter of Michael Farmiga (father) and Lubomyra (mother). She had five siblings Stephan, Nadia, Alexander, Laryssa, Taissa. she completed her education from St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic School, New Jersey, and Hunterdon Central Regional High School or Syracuse University, where she finished her graduation Bachelor of Fine Arts, in 1995. She made her debut 1996 on the stage of Broadway production. In 1997 she made her television debut; in Fox fantasy, she made an adventure movie Roar. She made many different kinds of drama movies like crime drama, historical drama, the legal drama, the biographical drama, and many more. In 2011 she gave her directorial debut with a drama film (Higher Ground).
Vera Farmiga was in a relationship with Sebastian Roché; they both are worked together in Roar, she always dating him, but in 2004 she broke up and moved on. After Sebastian, she started dating Renn Hawkey, the great musician, songwriter, and film producer. They both fall in love, on September 13, married 2008, she got married to him. They have two children.
